It can be seen in many houses that there are some antique things which is inherited from older members, a tea set, a trey or sometimes an antique chair. Chairs are going back to history in Iran where kings mostly had a four legs seat which was called “Takht” that there are many examples of it in museums and reliefs, but the modern chair and armchair like that is being used in houses is first came to Iran in Qajar dynasty when nobility and later upper-class families have it as a form of luxury.

This antique chair belongs to the early Pahlavi period (about 1930 s) that has a very beautiful and unique design which is called “the corner chair style” with wood mosaic design on the top pole, The chair had serious damage on one of its legs and foot poles which cause more damages to other parts, therefore we fixed the damaged separately and fortify the structure, then cleaning and polish the wooden structure then change the seat fabric and attach the parts to gather and make it ready to use again.
