Old photo restoration from Qajar

This amazing photo came to us from Qajar Prince Zel-o-sultan’s family.

as you can see it belongs to one hunting ceremony in the mid-Qajar dynasty and the poor hunted Persian Cheetah is poised by sticks for photography. In the picture there are three men and a teenager and a kid, from the way of clothing and carrying walking stick it’s obvious that the man standing on the left side and the one at the back of the cheetah and the seating boy are nobilities but the other man cuddling the kid is from lower classes, but unfortunately, their identity is not transpired as well as the exact time of photography. At the back of photo these words were written in English “ THIS IS A” in blue ink but the purpose of the writer is also remain unknown.

Treatment of this work started by making the missing parts by computer soft wear and print it on photo paper, meanwhile we stabilize the corners of the picture and the crack with Japanese Tissue paper and then attaching the missing part and finally retouching the attached parts in order to look more harmonious with the whole photo.
